Online donations

Thank you for choosing to give to the Australian Centre for International Justice – our work could not happen without your support.

Your tax-deductible online donation makes a lasting impact on the lives of the people we work with.

As with any online transaction, we ask that you enter your details carefully when donating to the Australian Centre for International Justice, including the dollar value of your donation.

Donation errors

While the Australian Centre for International Justice is under no obligation to refund donations made in error, we will always endeavour to fix any genuine errors (such as the amount donated) as soon as possible.

Please note, the Australian Centre for International Justice does not normally offer refunds for a change of heart. It’s for this reason that we ask that you make your choice to donate carefully.

You have up to 30 days in which to notify the Australian Centre for International Justice of the error and make a refund request in writing.

All requests for refunds are to be made in writing and directed by:

The request should have the details of the initial donation including the date, amount, name of the donor, the tax invoice/receipt number and the nature of the error.

The Australian Centre for International Justice will review your refund request and let you know the outcome.

Decisions on refunds will be at the discretion of the Australian Centre for International Justice.

When your refund is approved, your original tax receipt becomes void and invalid, and a new receipt will be issued where applicable.

Refund terms & conditions

As a registered charity and non-profit organisation the Australian Centre for International Justice is under no obligation to refund change of heart donations.

The Australian Centre for International Justice reserves the right to deduct any bank fees, transaction charges or processing fees to the donor.

Where refund requests are received more than 30 days after the error, the Australian Centre for International Justice regrets that we are unable to issue a refund.

Should an error be made by the Australian Centre for International Justice or its financial institution(s), full refunds will be made immediately upon notification in writing of the error and reasonable costs borne by the Australian Centre for International Justice.
